1622 Charity

In July 1622, the Charity left England. It arrived at Plymouth later that year.It sailed with the Swan and between the ships had 60 men and no provisions. Some of these passengers sailed on to Viriginia and some became the men of Wessagussett, Weymouth, MA.

1. Parrish, Thomas, aged 26 at muster Elizabeth City, servant to Thomas Spilman.
2. Royall, Joseph . . . . . -- Age 22 in Virginia Muster, January 24, 1624/5
=Thomas Morton, later of Mare Mount ("Merry Mount"), may have been with this group

     The following entiries were obtained from the Hotten book 8a from the Musters of the Inhabitants in Virginia 1624/1625 chapters, pages 201 thru 265, which lists the muster captain, and what ship the individual arrived on.
3.Bransby, Thomas, muster at Neck-of-Land near James City, three servants.
4. Chew, John, at Hog Land muster, wife Sarah on the Seaflower.
5. Cholmle, Robert, muster of the Maine, James City with James Standish.
6. Ellison, Ellin, wife of John on the Prosperous.
7. Parrish, Thomas, 1622 voyage, aged 26 at muster at Elizabeth City, servant to Thomas Spilman.
8. Royall, Joseph, 1622 voyage, muster at Neck-of-Land, Charles City, servant to Luke Boyse.
9. Standish, James, muster of the Maine, James City with Robert Cholmle
